Or do you mean the object SUPPORTING the cones? If you meant the first, it is paper cones (like for snow cones) and balls of newspaper. If you meant the thing holding the cones vertically, I used some big pieces of foam that I had laying around, that I dug holes into to support the points of the cones. I had a lot of cones, and several pieces of white foam, probably packing foam someone gave me, and also some black. We actually painted the white ones a nice ice blue color, and you can see them all in this post: http://plbrown.blogspot.com/2011/05/we-all-scream-for-ice-scream.htmlPhylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00482775924810462890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650247255320056704.post-42179147688044661852013-02-27T17:04:55.156-05:002013-02-27T17:04:55.156-05:00what is the structure underneath the cones?what is the structure underneath the cones?ksuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09970366322923135873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650247255320056704.post-17984715105929119462012-02-29T21:51:32.294-05:002012-02-29T21:51:32.294-05:00I use "Art Paste" - either School Specia...I use "Art Paste" - either School Specialty or Elmer's - it comes in a small box and mixes to make 4 quarts. And everyone who walks in the room absolutely drools over them, they look so real. Can't wait for you to see them all done!

2)Other ideas for marker caps? Our original plan was a rainbow, not the sign. But I didn't have enough caps - I'm really regretting the tub of them I dumped earlier this year. A color wheel perhaps? A tree with marker cap leaves? A marker cap mandala?
