Jellyfish!
Kristin at For the Love of Art posted this fun easy lesson and I didn't change much about it at all. The 1st graders loved making these fun drippy jellyfish with watered down tempera. Somehow these are the only photos I snapped.
Otherwise, things are getting a little weird in my art room... who can resist a pair of giant googly-eyes?

Love it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused.. you're finished for the year, right? Are you just catching up now, or teaching art camp?
Here in NY we're still in school. Still got a week and a half to go; still teaching! Busy busy!
DeleteI'm liking these Jelly Fish!!!! Fun & Colorful..and would go with a ton of my books for K!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIf I had more time, I would have had each student make one more jelly fish on a separate paper, and we would have cut them out and made them into peanut butter and jellyfish sandwiches!
