We're HERE! NAEA National Convention!

Start spreading the news; we are in NYC! That's my partner-in-crime, Erica "Art Project Girl" next to the tall guy. Here we are at a hat-making event this evening. What fun! Art teachers with tons of colorful wonderful materials - a recipe for a fun evening!

And now, an important message from Art Project Girl. Mr. E and Pat, wish you were here!

The left photo above is us at a lei-making workshop. What fun!

If you are at the conference, and want to 'do' dinner Friday night, what about meeting by the registration desks at 7pm to walk somewhere to eat? I'll wear a button with a flashing red light on it, but no, I won't be wearing my lei or my new tissue paper hat.

If you want to meet for lunch or to visit a museum, give me a call and we can see what we can work out. There's a good little diner/deli 1/2 block away. The hotel restaurant is too pricey, at $8 for a bowl of soup and $18 for a hamburger. YIKES!

Having a blast, wish you were all here!

  12. The conference was so much fun! In the excitement, I forgot that I might be arting it up with a fellow blogger. I remember seeing you Thursday night at the Hat's Off event. So, even though we technically didn't meet in person, I think it's amazing to know we shared the same space!
